COMPANY D-8 MISSION

 

​The mission of Company D-8 is to achieve a high proficiency in tactics, close order drill, military bearing and courtesy. To instill discipline and a high sense of friendship among the members of the company, and to develop to the highest degree the necessary characteristics that contribute to the making of better officers and citizens.

ALUMNI ASSOCIATION PURPOSE

 

​The purpose of the Pershing Rifles D-8 Alumni Association, Inc, is to promote, assist, encourage, advise the members, students and the general public in military matters, traditions, history, ceremonies, and activities; to inculcate a sense of individual obligation to the nation and state; to promote leadership, citizenship, martial skills, athletic prowess, woodsmanship, marksmanship, social intercourse, and fellowship among members; and to purchase and own necessary equipment and to operate, lease or own an office and storage facility incidental to the corporate purposes.
